Salvia illegal in Florida

Ridiculous:

A hallucinogenic herb known as Salvia, which was sold legally in the state of Florida, will soon be illegal.

Governor Charlie Crist has signed the hallucinogenic herb law (HB 1363) which makes Salvia divinorum illegal and puts it in the same class of controlled substances as marijuana and LSD.

Seriously? God forbid anyone have fun for fifteen whole minutes and it doesn’t involve alcohol, tobacco or firearms. The stuff is mildly entertaining, at best. I’ve covered this before, but Salvia is is not a party drug and most people are turned off of it pretty quickly because either A) it doesn’t do anything for them or B) they don’t like the high (which is kind of weird, honestly). I did have good results when mixing it with DXM, although that’s another story entirely.

Then again, I find it ridiculous that Marijuana and LSD are illegal.
