Okay. As much as I did laugh, it strikes me that Jon Stewart doesn’t believe that people are intelligent enough to manage their finances. Sadly I think he might be right, yet I still find this insulting. I’m waiting for the day that he foams at the mouth while deriding free market economics. No, the economy is not doing well, but I don’t think we need more government intervention. What we need is for people to fucking pay attention to what they are doing.

I’ve seen this sort of behavior before, only it was from that one paranoid guy at work who didn’t let anyone else on how his equipment worked. He had mad job security because they were afraid everything would fall apart the minute he left. You don’t cut of the tit you suckle from. Insert tasteless cancer joke here.
