These things are weird but kinda tasty. My roommate gave me a 5-pack that he got for 50 cents at some local Japanese grocer that was going out of business last night. I’m munching through the apple flavored ones right now.

They’re sweet in a fruit-juice sort of way, which is pleasant distinction from gummy bears but a little unsettling because I expect the corn-syrupy sweetness without any real flavor besides the sugar.

If you can find them at a local store, they shouldn’t cost more than a buck or two. Get’em.
