Dear [redacted],
Never is a long time to wait. Thanks.
Now would be a great time for it, if you were here. I heard you, and I know you knew it. Too bad there was so much cognitive dissonance in the air. Bastards polluted it and now you’re hundreds of miles away. That other girl got in the way, too, I suppose. I don’t know why she scared you away -it really was no competition. But you quit.
Way not to make plans, but we’re both guilty of doing that. And then joking about it.
Life is quite a whirlpool of choices and sometime, when you least expect it, they’re just fucking obvious. The no-plan plan flips the coin, despite knowing better.
We all want something that lasts forever, but at the same time, we want the wanting to last forever. Something better might come along. It might not though.
Thanks,
Dan
