Guv Van Sant adapted for the big screen Paranoid Park, the novel by Blake Nelson. The story is built around a teen skateboarder who accidentally causes the death of a security guard. From then, his life starts to fall apart. The movie won the 60th anniversary prize at 2007 Cannes Film festival. and might i say this film has the best death by cutting in half by a train in a long time
