People are dying. Well, 18 have died, anyway. I won’t be worried until it’s in the hundreds, and maybe not even then.

People are crying. I saw 12 Monkeys, too, and I’m giggling in delight. I think I’ve pretty much seen most every zombie/outbreak/epidemic/post-apocalyptic flick out there (yes, even Delicatessen) and I’m not worried. I am also far from convinced that this is anything more than the lack of proper hygiene and/or medical care in Mexico.

People are preparing for whatever… Remember: FEMA camps! Also, this is a good reason to get vaccinations – it prevents epidemics of things like Polio and, gasp, influenza.

I’ve read The Stand a few times… and given that this has less than a 1% chance of going full-blown TDTSHTF (I finally got to use that in a post! +1 to me!) I’m just gonna kinda chill out and do what I normally do already.
