“Markets are about serving the needs of another.” This is almost counter to what most people think about trade, but it resonates with a study I read last year (google it yourself, I have no link handy) about how the brain rewards altruism. Now, altruism (like Paul Zak says) is a social instinct – doing it with intention is phony. You will feel good about getting what you need, but you will also feel good about providing what others need. The same goes for sex.
