When the revenue stream created by the judicial system runs in reverse.

And trust me, the court acts as though it is doing you a favor by giving you probation instead of jail-time. And they have absolutely no problem giving up time served. I for one am thankful because the food in the Richmond county jail is inedible. And I’ve eaten some pretty terrible food in my time. Six years in the military can do that.

I’ve also seen several people leave the probation office early, and thus skipping their scheduled meeting, because they had waited more than an hour past their scheduled time. Having a job that is relaxed enough to understand that is awesome for me, but most people aren’t so fortunate.
